Izumi and Paralda

Here’s a character that I love… She was born for a common comic project I had had with some friends of mine… But since the project has been abandoned, I chose to re-use the characters as AcaDE teachers :3
Izumi is here in the temple of her native village.
There’s a sculpture of Paralda on one wall, and on the opposite one is Keithrïne.
Izumi is a Maliäki, just like her mother, which means she’s part of a people known for having a “gift”, named the Liä. This Liä lowers the speed of growth and ageing from a certain age, and lengthens their life expectancy of about a hundred years (usually according to the Liä’s strength). The Liä also allows those people to use some magic. Thus Izumi looks rather young on this picture, while she is in fact much older (she actually never tells about how old she really is xD)
As her mother and most of the young women of their town who own the “Liä” (regardless of its strength), she had to enter the Paralda and Keithrïne temple as an apprentice. She left this way of life quite early (which deprives her of the ability of healing, but since she has not finished her studies, her magic is limited anyway).
She also got a Conscience, which looks like a stick topped by a sphere, and entered the AcaDE later, where her mother is now the headmaster.
Once she finished her studies, she went travelling for a time, before returning to the AcaDE in order to become a teacher. Her mother would like her to become the following headmaster.
She’s a very kind woman whom you can trust. She loves her students as her own children, despite the fact that some of them make fun of her young appearance.
She however can be dangerous… once knocked out… Another teacher whom she knows for long bears the brunt of her wildness.

Un personnage que j'affectionne énormément... créée avec des amies, elle aurait dû être un personnage de BD pour un projet avec mon petit groupe d'ami à l'époque... mais comme le projet a avorté, j'ai donc repris les personnages pour en faire des professeurs à l'AcaDE :3

D'un côté nous avons une sculpture de Paralda, et faisant face à celle-ci, une de Keithrïne.

Izumi est une Maliäki comme sa mère. Ce qui signifie qu'elle fait partie d'un peuple qui possède un "don", le "Liä", qui arrête leur croissance à partir d'un certain âge, rallonge leur vie d'une centaine d'années (ça varie selon la puissance du Liä) et leur confère une certaine puissance magique. Izumi a donc l'air jeune bien que son âge soit assez avancé (elle ne le donne jamais en fait xD).
Comme sa mère et la plupart des jeunes filles de la ville qui se voient posséder un Liä plus ou moins puissants, elle a dû entrer au Temple de Paralda et Keithrïne comme apprentie. Voie qu'elle abandonne rapidement (elle en retire la possibilité de soigner grâce à sa magie mais n'ayant pas fini ses études, elle reste limiter dans son utilisation).
Ayant reçu par la même occasion une Conscience, qui a la forme d'un bâton surmonté d'une sphère, elle entre plus tard à l'AcaDE où sa mère est désormais Directrice.

Lorsqu'elle finit ses études, elle part sur les routes pendant quelques temps, avant de revenir à l'AcaDE pour y devenir enseignante. Sa mère souhaite qu'elle lui succède par la suite.

C'est une femme très gentille en qui on peut facilement avoir confiance. Elle aime ses élèves comme ses propres enfants, malgré que parfois certains se moquent de son apparence trop jeune.
Elle a tout de même un côté dangereux... lorsqu'on l'assomme... et un autre professeur qu'elle connaît depuis longtemps maintenant en fait souvent les frais...
